Lenyce Willason

Lenyce Willason

Lenyce Willason is the Director of CCR Melbourne. She first encountered Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the late 1980s and has walked the journey of conversion since. She became a coordinator in 2009 and the Director in September 2013.

Lenyce has worked in varied roles for the Archdiocese of Melbourne and is a qualified Pastoral Associate. She has completed her Bachelor of Theology, majoring in Scripture and Pastoral Counselling, and is the Coordinator of the Healing Ministry for CCR.

Lenyce supervises the formation and training for Prayer Ministers as well as the operation of Healing Prayer and Evangelisation Centres around Melbourne. She is the current Editor of "Good News".

Miriam Markis

MiriamMiriam Markis first encountered Catholic Charismatic Renewal in 1995 and is now the Administrator of the CCR Centre and a coordinator of CCR. She has extensive experience as a law clerk and most recently, in office management. Miriam is the leader of "Emmaus" Prayer Group which meets at the CCR Centre; is the Victorian representative on the National Service committee for CCR, and is part of the Healing Prayer Ministry.

Ban Wee

banwee3aBan joined St Francis' Prayer Group in Melbourne CBD in 1984 as it was close to his place of work. He became the leader of that prayer group from 1992 to 1997 and then as a prayer group leader for 2 more years in St Augustine's. Later, he attended the Sacre Coeur Prayer Community meetings after moving to Malvern East. In 2004 he became a member of its Pastoral Team. In July 2011, he attended the LTC Townsville to refresh on what he has learnt in the past.  When in Singapore he graduated with a BEng and ME; and then obtained an MAdmin in business from Monash University.

Christine Grech

Christine was born in Malta and came to Australia when she was 3. She has been married to Joseph Grech for the past 38 years and they have two children and two grandchildren. Christine was the Leader of the Hadfield Prayer Group for 15 years and has been the leader of the Healing Prayer Team at Pascoe Vale for the last 10 years. Her commitment to Catholic Charismatic Renewal and her many gifts will be valuable assets to her new role.

Gunawan Goh

Gunawan is an Electronic Engineer who lived in Germany for 13 years, where he married his wife, Lania, and had 2 daughters. He was baptised a Catholic in 1978 and emigrated to Australia in 1983. He did not have a very close relationship with God until 1990, when he attended a retreat by Fr. Joe Grech that deepened his faith.  He joined St James prayer group in Vermont in 1993. During a 2 year work stint in Indonesia in 1996, he found more opportunities to attend retreats and seminars in Jakarta. On his return to Australia in 1998, he became the leader of the Indonesian Catholic Family Group (PDKKI) and formed an Indonesian Prayer Group at St Augustine's Melbourne.  He is currently an advisor for the Indonesian Holy Trinity Community in Melbourne and is a member of St Scholastica's prayer group in Burwood. 

Vera Gelo

Vera came to Australia in 1970 at the age of 13. She has been married to Tom Gelo for 35 years and they have 3 grown up sons. Vera encountered the Lord more than 25 years ago and decided to follow Jesus. She has been a leader of Croatian Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group in Clifton Hill for 20 years. Vera has also been part of the healing prayer ministry for 11 years and is also presently involved in teaching for the Prophetic Intercession ministry.

Allan Panozza

Allan Panozza is an advisor to Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Melbourne. He is the former Executive Director and Chairman of CCR Melbourne and former Chairman of the Australian National Service Committee. He represented Oceania on the International Council (ICCRS) for 17 years, and served as the President of ICCRS from 2000 - 2007. Allan was appointed by Pope John Paul II as a member of the Pontifical Council for the Laity for a term of five years from 2002 - 2007. He has ministered in many countries of the world and in 2009 Pope Benedict appointed him a Papal Knight of the Order of St. Gregory.

 

Claude Lopez 

ClaudeClaude Lopez experienced conversion in June 1973. He attended a prayer meeting which became Sacre Coeur Prayer Community. In 1975 he joined its leadership team, then became a coordinator for the Melbourne Renewal committee. He became State representative of the National Service Committee, later becoming Chairman. From 1985 he was the Rome-based Executive Director of the International CCR. Claude rejoined the coordinators of the Melbourne Renewal early 1988 till the 2013. Jointly with Anglican leaders he chaired an ecumenical conference for some years. Claude was appointed adviser to ICCRS in 1995 in the areas of administration and major events in which he has given local and global service. He remains as an Advisor to CCR Melbourne for conferences and pilgrimages.
